These terms and conditions apply to all clients of Eco Wheels Tours.

Booking Conditions

Day Tours

Eco Wheels Tours confirms a booking when a client fully pays for it. Once Eco Wheels Tours has accepted a booking and received a payment, the contract between Eco Wheels Tours and the client will become binding.

Multi Day Tours

Eco Wheels Tours confirms a booking when a client fully pays it or a 50% deposit pays for it. Once Eco Wheels Tours has accepted a booking and received a payment, the contract between Eco Wheels Tours and the client will become binding.

Client Responsibility

Upon booking, you confirm that you have studied and familiarized yourself with the terms and conditions of Eco Wheels Tours and fully agree to all terms and conditions. You also ensure that you fulfill all requirements set by Eco Wheels Tours and are physically able to follow our instructions and partake in all activities planned for you and operated by us. Parents and legal guardians take full responsibility for damages caused by passengers they are responsible for. Therefore, children (under 18 years by Portuguese law) can only use the services of Eco Wheels Tours if they accompany parents or legal guardians.

Our Liability & Compensation

Eco Wheels Tours cannot be held responsible for any mishap to yourself or your property, particularly for the consequences of flight cancellations, vehicle accidents, strikes, sickness, Government, customs, or police intervention, or other such happenings amounting to force majeure. By confirming your booking with Eco Wheels Tours, you acknowledge that we have taken all reasonable steps to safeguard our liability in this respect. We reserve the right to suspend passengers from the tours if the passengers are inebriated or show unacceptable or improper behavior.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are subject to the following penalties for the total trip price:

  1. Up to 48 hours before the arrival, no penalties are applied. Entrance tickets, third-party activities, third-party Bookings, and transaction fees are exceptions. These will be evaluated one by one depending on each provider’s policy;
  2. Less than 48 hours before scheduled tour: 100% Penalty. However, Eco Wheels Tours reserves the right to evaluate the possibility of making a partial refund.
  3. Cancellation requests must be made by email.

 

Changes made by clients

Any client changes made after booking and program confirmation will not be refundable. The resulting costs will be considered extras and paid by the clients.

 

Changes and Cancellations by Eco Wheels Tours

Before you contract with us, we reserve the right to change any facilities or services described in our brochure or website. We also reserve the right to cancel the booking due to weather and other conditions. Any changes are usually minor, and we will advise you as soon as possible. However, if a significant difference, such as a change in departure time, becomes necessary, we will inform you that your tour begins as soon as possible. When a significant change or cancellation occurs, you can accept the change of arrangements, purchase another available tour from us, or cancel your tour. If the booking is canceled, we will refund all payments regarding the tour price. However, we will not refund any personal expenses you may have incurred due to your booking, such as flight payments for land-only tours, travel insurance, equipment purchases, visas, vaccinations, etc.
